Description

Venture through a lush, hidden world, where secret paths await and the key to greater meaning lies in the flowers!

In Umbra Via, players embark on a captivating journey to control and complete the most cunning paths through a lush, mysterious garden. As you reach into your bag to select wooden flower cubes, the goal is to place them strategically on your personal board to claim paths, outmaneuver your opponents, and uncover the secrets hidden within the garden.

Each round, tiles are revealed, each showing a portion of a path—whether a straight line, curve, or T-shape. Players secretly draw cubes from their bag, placing them on the tiles that match their desired paths. Once all players have made their selections, the tiles are revealed, and the player who bid the most cubes on a tile gets to place it first on the central 4x4 grid, with paths forming as the tiles connect.

When a path becomes fully enclosed, players count how many cubes they have placed on that path. The player with the most cubes retrieves valuable "double-bidding" cubes, which add to their collection and bring them closer to victory. The game continues until one player collects all of their "double-bidding" cubes, securing the win.

With its intricate tile placement, strategic bidding, and the satisfying tension of competing for the best paths, Umbra Via offers a deep, rewarding puzzle experience that will keep players coming back for more.

Game Summary:
In Umbra Via, a strategic path-building game for 2-4 players, players compete to control and complete paths within a secretive, flower-filled garden. Through a clever bidding system and tile placement, players work to outwit each other by claiming paths and collecting valuable cubes. As the game progresses, paths are completed, rewards are earned, and only the most cunning player will uncover the hidden secrets of the garden and win the game.
